This document aims to provide an overview of the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Development, including its framework, key principles, the management mechanism, the scope and definition of the special economic zone areas for good governance, and measures to manage potential impacts from the development. It also entails a number of government supports to ensure the establishment of SEZ development, attract successful investment, assess the impacts from the development, and develop a proposal for the next phase border economic zones.
